GALLO-ROMAN REMAINS   Middle 1st to end of the 3rd centuries.   Forum de Segodunum     Whilst constructing the “Médiathèue” and underground parking the ancient "“Forum du Segodunum” was discovered.
	This vast square, commercial, administrative and religious centre, occupied virtually the same area as the present “Place Raynaldy”. It was ringed with pilasters, shops and public monuments. Now all that remains is a small section of the wall. The forum floor was paved with red stoneware tiles.
