Built in 1761 by the collector of taxes from Montauban. Little remains of the
courtyard. On the other hand important transformations were brought about when this building
became the Préfecture for the Aveyron department (County Hall) in 1825.
A
plaque commenorates that Jean Moulin (1899-1943) was Préfet of Rodez during the years
