Saint Salvi Collegiate Church

Saint Salvi Church Saint Salvi Cloisters
Salvi was the name of one of the earliest bishops of Albi (6th century). The collegiate church is a mixture of styles : built on Romanesque foundations (12th century) it was continued in Gothic in the 15th century and then reworked in the 18th and 19th centuries. The steeple is topped by a watch tower or “gache”, and the cloister of which only part remains, combines the Romanesque and the Gothic.
